Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips optional
- Chopped peanuts for garnish optional
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C
Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave, then stir in the granulated sugar until well combined
Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture, and mix until smooth
In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
If desired, fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly
In a small saucepan, heat the peanut butter over low heat until its easily pourable
Stir in the powdered sugar and milk until you have a smooth frosting
Drizzle the peanut butter frosting over the brownie batter in the pan, then use a knife or toothpick to swirl it into the brownie batter, creating a marbled effect
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs
Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares
Optional: Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top for extra crunch and flavor
Serve and enjoy
