Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped roasted peanuts
- Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the peanut butter and vanilla extract
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped peanuts
Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart
Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt over each cookie
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely
