Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes

This Instant Pot mashed potatoes recipe from a Michelin star makes sure they are always perfectly creamy. Using chicken broth, heavy cream, and butter together makes the flavor better, and the Instant Pot makes the cooking process faster.

Ingredients:

  • 5 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped chives for garnish

Instructions:

Add diced potatoes and chicken broth to the Instant Pot

Close the lid and set the valve to sealing position

Pressure cook on high for 8 minutes

Quick release pressure and carefully open the lid

Drain excess liquid from the potatoes if any

Add heavy cream and butter to the pot

Mash the potatoes using a potato masher until smooth and creamy

Season with salt and pepper to taste

Garnish with chopped chives before serving
