This gnocchi recipe is great for busy weeknights because it is quick and easy. The crunchy garlic gives the soft gnocchi a tasty crunch, making the whole meal filling and tasty.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb store-bought gnocchi
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
As the water boils, add salt to a large pot
The gnocchi should float to the top of the boiling water after being added
This should take about two to three minutes
While thats going on, heat the olive oil in a big skillet over medium-low heat
It will take about two to three minutes of cooking after adding the garlic slices until the food is crispy and golden brown
Move the cooked gnocchi from the pot to the skillet with the crispy garlic using a slotted spoon
Add pepper and salt to taste, and then toss the gnocchi in the oil that has garlic in it
Serve right away with fresh parsley that has been chopped on top
