Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs
- 3 slices of bacon
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh chives for garnish optional
Instructions:
Cover the eggs with cold water and put them in a saucepan
Warm the water up until it starts to boil over medium-high heat
Then lower the heat to a low level and let it simmer for 9 to 12 minutes, depending on how soft or firm you want the yolks to be
In a skillet over medium-low heat, cook the bacon until its crispy while the eggs are cooking
Take the bacon out of the pan, break it up, and set it aside
Once the eggs are done, take them out of the water and put them in a bowl of ice water to cool down
Once the eggs are cool, peel them and cut them in half lengthwise
Remove the yolks with care and put them in a different bowl
Place the egg yolks in a bowl
Add the Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, black pepper, and paprika
Mix and mash everything together until its smooth and well mixed
You can use a spoon to fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture, or you can use a piping bag for a neater look
Put the bacon bits on top of the deviled eggs that have been filled
If you want, add fresh chives as a garnish
Once youre ready to serve, put the deviled eggs in the fridge
